Staff Accountant
Onit
• Execute on general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Perform monthly and annual financial close procedures. • Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper financial reporting. • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations. • Assist in financial audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation. • Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems. • Ensure compliance with internal controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not required.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS and technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
