Workload/COTS Engineer
Conduent
• Build/deployment/support of IBM workload automation (IWA) products • Support several Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products incorporated into client solutions • Learn new skills needed to contribute to the team • Maintain applications primarily run in Linux but may have Windows agents • Utilize Microsoft Teams for meetings and internal communications
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of total work experience
- Bachelor's Degree CIS, CS or related field; technical certificates considered.
- Adequate working space/Equipment/Discipline to be effective working remotely
- Support production systems 24x7 utilizing an on-call rotation
- Demonstrate evidence of work product if requested
- Experience working within a virtualized operating environment
- Respond to trouble tickets per SLA, as reported by staff/end-users
- Participating in Incident Management
- Follow change processes and other procedures
- Monitor, evaluate, and report system performance
- Maintain security posture; resolve vulnerability scan findings
- Share responsibility for documentation creation/maintenance
- Interact with stakeholders to create schedules or provide technical advice and assistance
- Experience with korn/bash shell scripting to automate tasks
- General knowledge of job scheduling and related administrative/user experience
- IBM Workload Automation (IWA) scheduler v9.5/10.3 and integration with Oracle/SQL databases is a plus. TWS or Control-M experience considered
- Basic understanding of networking and Client/server technology
- Cloud operating environment experience a plus
- Healthcare experience is a plus
