Job Description BAE Systems Inc, Space and Mission Systems (SMS) is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator I/II to ensure the operational readiness and continuous availability of mission-critical software components for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center's (NASIC) Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron (NASIC/GSP). This role is vital to the 24x7 delivery of PIR processing, exploitation, and dissemination services, requiring a blend of proactive system monitoring, rigorous security compliance, and rapid incident response. You will be responsible for maintaining complex applications and databases across multiple classified networks, leveraging modern automation tools and containerization to minimize downtime and ensure the seamless flow of intelligence products. Your expertise will directly enable the mission's ability to maintain a persistent and uninterrupted operational picture. The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. What You'll Do: - Provide continuous monitoring of software and services. - Provide maintenance of unique software, applications, and databases across multiple networks. - Respond to and resolve incidents and problems impacting PIR processing, exploitation, and dissemination services. - Troubleshoot and triage complex problems to avoid costly downtime and outages. - Proactively monitor and report PIR software components and services on classified networks. - Ensure data and products are transferred and disseminated. - Plan and schedule outages for updates, installs or patches to minimize impact to PIR mission operations. - Document and report all issues and outages. - May require extended work weeks. - Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. - Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. - Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Related Bachelor's; or HS Diploma and 4 or more years of related experience. - Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate's, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience. - Related certifications may count towards years of related experience. - Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. - A current, active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required. - Security+ certification. - Linus scripting experience such as Bash or Python. - Configuration as Code such as Ansible or Marathon JSON. - DC/OS and Kubernetes experience is highly desired. - Availability to occasionally work shifts or call-in support for 24x7 operations. #LI-NP1 Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $59023 - $100339 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Role Description D&G is seeking an SAP BusinessObjects Systems Administrator to support steady-state operations and platform sustainment for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment and Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. The IGC program provides a unified platform for enterprise data, business services, and reporting capabilities that support global supply, distribution, and logistics operations across combatant commands, military services, and federal agencies. This role supports both SAP BusinessObjects platform administration and the underlying Linux-based server environment, including participation in system upgrades and secure enclave compliance activities. What You Will Do: - Administer and maintain SAP BusinessObjects environments, including installation, configuration, user management, content promotion, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. - Monitor system health including logs, services, job status, and performance indicators to ensure stable and reliable operations. - Respond to and resolve user-submitted issues through structured support processes, performing root-cause analysis as needed. - Execute and support SAP BusinessObjects upgrade activities, including installation packages, configuration validation, and post-upgrade testing. - Administer and support Linux-based servers (RHEL preferred), including service management, log analysis, patching, and OS-level upgrade participation. - Support Linux server-level upgrade processes in coordination with infrastructure and security teams. - Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements, including DISA STIG guidance and routine security scans. - Collaborate with DBAs, data engineers, and middleware administrators to ensure BusinessObjects functionality aligns with backend systems and authentication services. - Support documentation, audit readiness, and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
