Job Description

Sales Director, Business Banking

SoFi

• Prospecting and qualifying leads from sectors such as e-commerce, marketplaces, social media, digital services, banks, software, and digital assets; • Conducting virtual product demonstrations and pitches highlighting product features like 24/7 real-time payments (via SoFi's SEN network), wire transfers by API, ACH origination, deposit accounts, and digital asset custody; • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at target companies; • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet quarterly revenue targets; • Collaborating with product, compliance, and operations teams to tailor solutions; • Analyzing market trends and client feedback to refine sales strategies; and tracking performance metrics in CRM tools.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in financial services, payments, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in closing large deals with revenue targets exceeding $1 million annually, including experience with API-enabled products and real-time payment systems.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory environments, including OCC regulations, compliance in digital assets, and banking charters, to effectively position SoFi's advantages.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to track prospects, pipelines, and performance.
  • Experience targeting and selling to diverse customer segments, such as marketplaces, banks, stablecoin issuers, exchanges, and institutional investors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual pitches, negotiations, and relationship-building.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and map them to product features like deposit accounts, wires, ACH, SEN transfers, and digital asset infrastructure.
