• Lead, coach, and mentor engineers; foster a culture of ownership, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement • Drive predictable delivery through effective planning, execution, risk management, and cross-team coordination • Remove blockers through active technical engagement, including debugging, design reviews, and rapid problem resolution • Provide architecture and design leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable • Conduct code and design reviews, reinforcing engineering best practices and sound system design • Deep dive into complex production issues across frontend, backend, and database layers to restore service and prevent recurrence • Lead development and ongoing support of NodeJS services/APIs and React web applications with clean, extensible architecture • Oversee SQL Server data design and performance, including schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, and tuning • Ensure strong API integration patterns (RESTful and internal services), resiliency, and secure-by-design practices • Lead engineering execution across Azure and GCP environments, including deployment readiness, operational reliability, and scalability • Promote engineering practices aligned with hosted and cloud-native architectures, high availability, and operational excellence • Provide technical leadership for ColdFusion applications (CFML, CFCs, custom tags, modular design), including integration with modern web stacks • Lead support and modernization of Windows C++ desktop and service-based applications, including debugging, performance optimization, and reliability improvements • Ensure structured engineering workflows using Git-based version control and disciplined release processes • Partner closely with QA, Product, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to maintain high quality and release readiness across environments

• Understand technical processes for specific industrial gas applications and have the ability to diagnose and develop a value proposition utilizing Airgas solutions and equipment to these specific applications. • Primary applications are inerting, industrial cryogenics, and waste water treatment in the refining, pulp & paper, and chemicals market areas. • Proactive technical sales support and business development to Airgas’ 16 Regional Companies sales groups using individual’s process knowledge, industry experience and applications background. • Work with local sales teams to find leads through business development techniques and prepare and present technical and value-based proposals to Airgas prospects/customers. • Individual will be involved in all aspects of customer relationship from initial contact, customer/prospect problem identification, applications/equipment selection, data analysis, equipment/system development and proposal, equipment specification/manufacturing, start-up and long term customer support and application marketing. • New product/application identification and development. • Interface internally with regional account managers, bulk gas specialists, equipment engineers and marketing and externally with customers and equipment vendors. • Familiar with a wide variety of standard concepts, practices and procedures within industry and related applications. • Extensive knowledge of gas properties and thermodynamics. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals. • Creates training material and conducts training sessions for internal and external customers. • Wide degree of creativity and latitude based on experience. • May assist in development, oversight and training of Equipment Engineers and Applications Engineers.

• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of solutions engineers • Conduct performance management, career development planning, and regular feedback cycles • Set team culture, operating cadence, and engineering standards from the ground up • Partner with leadership on hiring plans, team structure, and long-term growth • Work closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments • Translate evolving requirements into clear technical solutions and execution plans • Drive rapid iteration cycles and enable teams to ship quickly while maintaining quality • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics • Track progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers • Identify and remove blockers to keep teams moving efficiently • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Own team-level reporting and operational metrics, including: • Delivery status and project health • Resource utilization and capacity planning • SLA adherence and incident trends • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes • Establish and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms • Manage documentation standards across solutions, integrations, and processes • Provide hands-on technical leadership when needed, especially in early stages • Drive delivery of high-quality software across multiple initiatives in fast-moving environments • Perform hands-on technical work while also providing guidance and direction to team members on implementation, best practices, and problem-solving. • Leverage advanced AI tools (including Claude, Level 3 proficiency) to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and support decision-making.

• Support the design and development of single-use solutions for the Fluid Management market. • Review customer and internal designs, creating concept-to-final assemblies using standard and custom components. • Collaborate with commercial partners to translate customer requirements into effective product solutions. • Guide raw‑material selection and develop product designs, cost estimates, and customer quotations. • Support product setup and lifecycle management in SAP ERP including Item Masters, BOMs, routings, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). • Maintain technical documentation and participate in occasional travel (<10%) as needed.
