• Lead, coach, and mentor the Global Payroll Implementation team — fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and excellence. • Own the delivery of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met. • Support team leads and specialists with issue resolution, prioritisation, and workload balancing across multiple projects. • Standardise and continuously improve global payroll implementation processes, tools, and documentation. • Serve as the primary point of contact for key internal stakeholders, ensuring visibility into implementation progress, risks, and performance metrics. • Represent the implementation function in internal initiatives, contributing insights to shape global payroll strategy and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience managing global or regional payroll implementations in a complex, high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, from onboarding to compliance handover.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower high-performing teams — you value autonomy and avoid micromanagement.
- Strong project management and organisational skills; capable of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities — able to explain technical or regulatory topics clearly and confidently.
- Experience driving process improvement and working with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
- Analytical and solutions-focused mindset — you enjoy solving operational challenges and making systems better.
- Comfortable working asynchronously in a distributed, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
