Senior SCADA Project Manager

• Support customer engagements, from booking to delivery, demonstrating operational excellence resulting in delighted customers. • Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Manage project lifecycle stages from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout project phases and managing stakeholder expectations. • Monitor and control project costs & schedules to ensure projects are delivered per budgetary constraints and on-time per project milestones. Prepare cost estimates, track expenses, and work with finance teams to report on financial status. • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, are free from errors, and delivered in a timely manner per customer contract service level agreements. Oversee development and delivery customer deliverables, addressing issues and ensuring performance requirements are met. • Ensure all projects adhere to the appropriate regulatory guidelines, industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Work with stakeholders and technical teams to maintain regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders. Report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and issues. • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives. Provide direction, delegate tasks, and facilitate collaboration. • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Adjust project plans as necessary to respond to changes and address risks. • Collaborate with Legal and Sales to review & revise contract terms, identify potential risks & develop mitigation plans, support customer negotiations, and the execution of contracts. • Identify and address gaps in processes and procedures, resulting in improved, streamlined workflows. • Collaborate with other departments on operational requirements needed to meet customer deliverables and departmental priorities. • Maintain a complete understanding of our products and services. • Identify and promote changes in Terabase's technology stack to increase operational efficiency. • Lead structured project reviews and contribute to the development of company-wide lessons learned including the documentation, education, and implementation of project learnings across teams. • Serve as the face of Terabase for a portfolio of projects across key customers and manage the experience throughout the life of the engagement. • Interface & engagement with senior leadership and executive-level customers to lead strategic initiatives such as project execution workshops and other execution-focused discussions to improve overall experience. • Work in partnership with the sales team to provide expanded services and support organic growth within existing accounts. • Act as a voice of the customer by representing their perspectives and interests in areas such as product roadmap, technical support, quality, etc. • Maintain the relationship to enable effective & active communication and a collaborative environment with the customer team to manage a variety of situations including conflict resolution, addressing complex & technical topics, and understanding when to seek leadership support to ensure the customer receives the proper level of care. • Perform and deliver a customer-centric experience ensuring every aspect of the project is managed such that Terabase becomes an extension of the customer’s project management team. • Serve as a mentor for more junior Project Manager team members offering guidance, support, and coaching to strengthen the overall team’s capabilities and implementation of lessons learned. • Serve as a collaborative partner to the leadership team with operational enhancements, identification of improved or new tools and processes, and other improvements • Cross-functional / cross-team operational project planning & execution to support & manage the deployment of multiple products on any given assigned project(s) • Provide performance feedback to management for PMs and lead working groups focused on process standardization and improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or PMI-ACP certification(s).
  • 7+ years’ experience working as a project or operations manager in the solar or renewable energy industry, heavy construction, or aerospace industry.
  • Excellent time management and ability to execute multiple projects across multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, customer relationship skills, and ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment.
  • Advanced or expert skill level in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience working with project management tools and platforms such Cora, Wrike, Kantana, Project Insight, Primavera P6, JIRA and other Atlassian tools such as Confluence.
  • Experience leading a small team and working with remotely distributed contractors.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup and work with minimal supervision.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time, primarily US-based project sites
