Apex Companies
• Serve as senior technical lead on projects with revenue of $2M to $3M annually. • Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $500K annually, with a focus on brownfields redevelopment, groundwater/soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources; • Write and review technical reports and proposals. • Assist with project management activities. • Mentor and train technical staff and ensure quality work products.
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with environmental/remediation services, including technical writing, technical oversight, project management, business development, and staff management.
- Experience with manufacturing, utility, oil & gas, municipal (including landfills) sites; petroleum and chlorinated solvent contaminants and Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) groups.
- California PE required
- Proven track record in business development and project management experience.
- Experience mentoring and developing staff.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to successfully multi-task
- Safety mindset and awareness and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
