Role Description pro beam USA is seeking a Senior Field Service & Commissioning Engineer with experience supporting complex industrial equipment to lead commissioning support, advanced troubleshooting, and technical escalation activities across North America. - This role works closely with Field Service Engineers and Commissioning Engineers in the field. - Serves as a senior technical resource for non-routine machine behavior, commissioning challenges, and customer escalations. - Combines hands-on commissioning support with advanced electromechanical troubleshooting across highly customized electron beam welding and additive manufacturing equipment. - Some troubleshooting and diagnostics are performed remotely, but the role is closely tied to real-world machine behavior, commissioning support, and complex equipment problem-solving at customer sites and within the Lombard facility. - Centered around commissioning support, industrial equipment troubleshooting, vacuum/high-voltage systems, and customer-facing technical problem-solving within highly customized machinery environments. - Best suited for engineers who enjoy solving non-routine problems and working on highly customized industrial equipment. Qualifications - 5–10+ years of hands-on experience supporting complex industrial or high-tech equipment. - Strong troubleshooting capabilities across electromechanical equipment and integrated subsystems. - Experience in commissioning, field service, startup, or applications engineering environments. - Working knowledge of PLC diagnostics (programming not required). - Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments. - Strong communication skills and ability to train others. - Willingness to travel approximately 25–40%. Requirements - Experience with electron beam systems. - Experience with vacuum equipment, high-voltage systems, semiconductor equipment, thermal processing systems, or similarly complex machinery. - Experience with additive manufacturing systems. - Familiarity with Siemens PLC environments (TIA Portal, drives, etc.). - Experience mentoring or leading technical personnel. - Experience working within multinational or German engineering organizations. Role Description Analyze requirements and participate in clarifying tasks before development starts. - Identify ambiguities, risks, and formulate questions about the product. - Perform manual testing (frontend / backend) of new features and changes. - Write and maintain automated tests (TypeScript + Playwright). - Verify edge cases, negative and regression scenarios. - Work with logs (Kibana) to search for and analyze errors. - Validate data in databases (SQL / NoSQL). - Update test cases when functionality changes. - Expand the regression test suite. - Create and maintain test documentation. - Participate in improving testing processes. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual). - Ability to independently analyze requirements. - Understanding of test design techniques. - Experience with regression testing. - Solid SQL skills (SELECT, JOIN). - Experience working with NoSQL (searching and updating data). - Ability to read backend logs (Kibana or similar). - Understanding of HTTP status codes and client-server interaction. - English and Russian. • Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems for assigned properties. • Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s). • Maintain heating and cooling equipment, DX units, pumps, fan coil units, VAVs, air distribution systems, light commercial package units and split system units. • Monitor and adjust all mechanical equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment for the buildings. • Perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with C&W standards, building protocol, manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices. • Inspect electric rooms, IT rooms, back-up generators, fire pump(s), sump pump(s), and ejector pumps when applicable. • Document and report activities to supervisor. • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns. • Complete all required C&W Safety Training as scheduled annually. • Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code while working.

• Own the development of conceptual site layouts, grading and drainage approaches, utility routing concepts, and preliminary civil works packages • Work cross-functionally with energy strategy, environmental, construction, operations, and project deployment teams • Develop conceptual and preliminary site layouts for advanced reactor facilities and supporting infrastructure • Design and develop industrial site layouts that integrate sustainability principles • Generate early-stage civil works plans including grading, drainage, access roads, stormwater systems, underground utilities • Support site feasibility studies, constructability evaluations, and site selection efforts • Prepare estimates on overburden and spoils generated and cost estimates for civil and site development scopes • Coordinate with environmental, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams • Support permitting and environmental review activities • Interface with external engineering firms, EPC partners, surveyors, and geotechnical consultants • Develop technical specifications, scopes of work, and design criteria for civil engineering activities • Support development of project schedules and execution strategies for site preparation and construction activities • Participate in iterative design reviews and continuously refine site concepts as project requirements evolve • Generate clear technical documentation, reports, drawings, and presentations
