Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – ET Required

• Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure. • Manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, including Azure Policy enforcement and VM image hardening. • Partner with the infrastructure team to enhance the reliability and performance of our systems. • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and automation tools to ensure excellent system observability. • Lead security incident response efforts within the Azure ecosystem. • Develop and maintain security incident response playbooks and automate responses to minimize impact and recovery time. • Deploy and maintain tools like Azure Security Center. • Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and IT teams to improve security practices across infrastructure and applications. • Provide expertise on container security, role management, and policy enforcement within development workflows. • Develop automation scripts and workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Python.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years in cloud security and SRE/DevOps roles, with a focus on Azure environments.
- Strong automation skills with Terraform and Bash scripting; Python and Terragrunt are a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency in Azure technologies, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Azure App Configuration, and Logic Apps.
- SQL and NoSQL knowledge, including Azure SQL, Azure Cache for Redis, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Familiarity with Azure Governance, including Blueprints, policies, tagging, cost management, and savings plans.
- Strong monitoring knowledge, especially in Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Datadog.
- CI/CD skills in GitHub Actions and similar technologies.
- Networking proficiency, including Azure Front Door, Azure WAF, Cloudflare, Azure Firewall, and Azure VNet.
- Cloud Architecture & Design: Ability to develop secure, scalable, and highly available multi-region Azure cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
- Knowledge of .NET, Istio, Helm, KEDA, Dapr, and ArgoCD is a plus.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar.
