• Set technical direction: Own architecture for our most complex GenAI and agentic systems end-to-end, and set the standards — evaluation, observability, responsible AI — that the practice builds to. • Build at the frontier, hands-on: Stay in the code where it matters most — foundation-model and embedding fine-tuning, novel agentic workflows, advanced RAG and semantic search — using Python on Google Cloud (Vertex AI), LangChain/LlamaIndex, and vector search (Vertex AI Vector Search, Pinecone, pgvector). • Engineer for production: Design for latency, reliability, cost, and scale from day one; apply MLOps discipline so systems are served efficiently, monitored, and continuously improved — and actually reach production, where most AI work stalls. • Lead multi-step reasoning at scale: Architect and operate agentic workflows that automate complex reasoning reliably, with the design and verification discipline that keeps multi-agent systems from cascading into failure. • Advise clients and shape deals: Work directly with client leadership to understand strategy, propose state-of-the-art approaches, and shape solutions in pre-sales — the technical authority in the room. • Multiply the team: Elevate senior and mid-level engineers through architecture reviews, mentorship, and setting a high, teachable bar for AI-augmented engineering.

• Optimize Inference: Build and tune production LLM serving with vLLM and SGLang • Profile & Accelerate Training: Instrument and profile training runs to find bottlenecks • Engineer for the Hardware: Apply a working understanding of GPU architecture • Serve at Scale: Deploy and operate multiple models within shared GPU clusters on GKE • Drive Efficiency: Own GPU utilization as a first-class metric • Collaborate & Consult: Work directly with clients to understand performance requirements

• Cloud Delivery Leadership: Lead the implementation and operationalization of cloud solutions, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery throughout the project lifecycle. • Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, identity, and platform services to support business and application requirements. • Hybrid Cloud Connectivity: Implement and maintain secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments using services such as Network Connectivity Center, Partner Interconnect, and HA VPN. • Cloud Security Deployment: Establish and enforce a strong cloud security posture through the implementation of cloud-native security services, including Cloud NGFW Enterprise, Cloud IDS, Cloud Armor, identity controls, and encryption capabilities. • Access and Service Controls: Implement appropriate access boundaries, segmentation, and data protection guardrails using tools such as VPC Service Controls, IAM policies, and Network Security Endpoints. • Cloud Observability and Operations: Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities to support platform reliability, performance management, troubleshooting, and security investigations.

• Partner with the Customer • Build relationships, becoming the customer’s advocate and coach by building trust. • Keep a regular cadence of discussions and progress updates. • Manage communication with stakeholders of multiple levels, knowing when to change tone. • Learn the client’s business, environment, objectives, and challenges. Know the difference between recommending a standard set of rules and strategically, creatively finding the right behaviors to coach and change. • Leverage your product management expertise and understanding to demonstrate good product owner and product management behavior and practice. • Help guide client and Egen teams in good prioritization, roadmap, and execution practices, keeping the end user (“customer”) first. • As needed, supplement the Customer’s team with your skills. • Own Egen Project Delivery • Prepare and use Egen’s tools to prepare and manage your project, or bring your own ideas and suggestions to do so better. • Initiate project work with team members ensuring they are set for success internally and externally. • Create and manage project plans, communicating plans to internal and external stakeholders in formats suitable to the audience. Identity and manage dependencies proactively. • Moderate and lead meetings with strong communication and efficiency. Take meeting minutes (with team collaboration), create decks and ad hoc meeting structure/ assets. • Manage the day-to-day project ensuring the Egen team is delivering against expectations or, where needed, creatively changing our approach. • Manage scope and change requests as needed. • Identify and manage risks, issues, and asks. Escalate appropriately and early. • Utilize agile and traditional program management backgrounds to craft the right delivery and management process and tools to effectively guide teams from need to goal, communicating within. • Manage your project budget, aligned with your Sales partners. • Actively look for ways to grow the account you are on; suggesting ideas for next projects to your SSDL or account team. • Approach project delivery with a product mindset; this is core to our approach. Utilize good product management practices to manage Egen deliveries, leading by example to our clients. • Deliver SDL offerings as they evolve, which may include workshops, innovative delivery approaches, or coaching. • Know the difference between task management and owning product delivery and success. • Sales, Resourcing, and Growing Egen • Work with internal stakeholders to source the right resources for new projects sold. • Partner with account teams to be sure they have the information they need to make informed decisions. • Lead SOW contracting, writing SOWs, and managing the redline process through to close. Participate in MSA redline processes. • Support the SDL team’s initiatives to grow Egen and the SDL team through improvements to processes, templates, or sellable offerings. • Manage Internal Team Communications • Clearly articulate scope and expectations to Egen team members, making sure their roles are clear and they are set up for success. • Partner effectively with other teams engaged, treating the customer as an equal and actively coaching others to avoid common consulting behavior. • Keep internal stakeholders up to date as needed through regular ceremonies or ad hoc checkpoints. Clearly communicate objectives, risks, and any needs/asks.

• Architect and optimize large-scale data platforms on Google Cloud, with BigQuery as the analytical backbone • Design and build unified batch and streaming pipelines that handle high-volume, mission-critical workloads • Lead infrastructure-as-code practices, ensuring environments are repeatable, secure, and version-controlled • Implement open table formats to enable cross-cloud and cross-engine data interoperability • Establish automated data quality, metadata, and lineage practices across the data estate • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business needs into reliable data products • Mentor engineers, review designs, and raise the bar on engineering standards

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to the teams, customer executives, and technical leadership, translating complex technical roadmaps into clear business value and risk assessments • Define the multi-year, enterprise-wide strategy for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization, with a strong focus on Google Cloud services and strategic interoperability with the second cloud platform (Pref AWS) • Establish and enforce global cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, reference models, and reusable patterns for deployment, security, and operations across all environments • Drive advanced DevOps practices and accountability models • Oversee cloud cost optimization initiatives, and establish technical guardrails to ensure maximum ROI across the multi-cloud footprint. • Architect and lead the implementation of complex, large-scale solutions on Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in leveraging services like GKE, Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Cloud Spanner • Design and govern the integration patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud systems, focusing on low-latency, secure connectivity, and consistent Identity and Access Management (IAM) across platforms (e.g., using federated identity or centralized key management) • Define the DevSecOps and cloud security posture, ensuring that designs meet stringent regulatory (e.g., data residency) and global compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for emerging technologies like Generative AI (e.g., Google Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock), serverless computing, and define their eventual architecture and integration into the enterprise landscape • Architect a comprehensive visibility strategy to monitor system health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks across complex cloud environments • Design automated governance guardrails that ensure every deployment is secure, compliant, and cost-optimized by default. • Mentor, coach, and grow a group of Senior/Lead Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous learning • Own and drive continuous improvement of the cloud architecture delivery pipeline, promoting GitOps and end-to-end automation across the development lifecycle • Collaborate with the Data & AI Team and Engineering Leads to ensure architectural decisions align with product roadmaps and business domain goals • Elevate the organization’s technical brand by authoring engineering blogs and whitepapers, and representing the company as a speaker at industry conferences and meetups.

• Design and build scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming) on GCP • Develop and manage API-driven integrations (REST, JSON, event-based) • Work with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI • Build and optimize solutions using: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage • Design data models aligned with business and domain requirements • Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability • Collaborate with stakeholders and independently own deliverables from design to deployment

• Serve as the trusted strategic advisor to executive stakeholders (C-level, VP, Director), deeply understanding their long-term business goals, technology footprint, and competitive landscape to proactively identify and champion high-impact data and AI transformation opportunities. • Full ownership and strategic growth for a portfolio of accounts, including defining comprehensive account strategies and ensuring solutions drive measurable, quantifiable business outcomes (e.g., ROI, cost reduction, process automation). • Own the strategic framing and commercial lifecycle of all engagements. This includes defining strategic business objectives, negotiating commercial constructs (MSAs, SOWs, Pricing). • Demonstrate understanding of solution design and strategic implementation of projects involving AI/ML, Data Products, and cloud-native application modernization on major public clouds (GCP preferred). • Agentic Change Strategy & Planning: Apply structured change management methodologies to design tailored strategies for complex AI and Workspace transformations. • Discovery & Assessment: Facilitate Gemini Enterprise Discovery Workshops and conduct change impact analyses to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities. • Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Advisory: Support and engage senior leaders and executive sponsors, coaching them on their visible change leadership role. • Training, Education & Communication: Develop persona-based learning journeys and role-based training programs that build competency in agentic solutions. • Adoption Measurement & Sustainment: Lead Gemini Enterprise Pilot programs, managing Vanguard Cohorts and capturing baseline productivity reports.

• Lead the implementation and operationalization of hybrid network architectures, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery across the project lifecycle. • Deploy and manage core hybrid connectivity solutions, utilizing services such as Network Connectivity Center (NCC), Partner Interconnect, and HA VPN to establish robust, secure, and dynamically routed links between cloud and on-premises environments. • Establish and enforce a comprehensive network security posture by deploying and configuring cloud-native security products, including Cloud NGFW Enterprise (Next-Generation Firewall), Cloud IDS (Intrusion Detection System), and Cloud Armor (DDoS and WAF protection). • Implement strong access boundaries and data exfiltration guardrails using VPC Service Controls (VPC SC) and Network Security Endpoints to protect sensitive services and resources. • Configure and maintain network visibility tools like VPC Flow Logs and Firewall Rule Logging for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, security diagnostics, and forensic analysis. • Define and deliver network components using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform) to ensure all deployments are repeatable, scalable, and compliant with established governance policies (e.g., using Cloud DNS for centralized naming). • Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on network delivery, providing ad-hoc technical leadership and actively collaborating with on-premises network engineers to facilitate knowledge transfer and operational alignment.
