Title: Inside Sales Representative Location: Plano, TX Job Description: Full-time Role Summary The Inside Sales Representative manages marketing-generated leads through qualification and closure within an assigned territory, partnering with the field sales organization to advance new opportunities and support existing accounts. The role engages key stakeholders, communicates the value of Zhone’s product portfolio, prepares quotes for products and services, and works directly with customers to close business. Responsibilities also include managing territory opportunities (orders and quotes), ensuring timely scheduling and release, participating in routine opportunity and strategy reviews, and contributing to quarterly account planning. Salesforce is used to document and actively manage opportunities and to maintain accurate account and contact records. Location Requirements This is a fully remote position. At this time, applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in one of the following states: California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington or Wisconsin, due to business and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities - Oversee accounts and opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, including relationship management, target evaluation, and support to the field sales team to facilitate closure. - Negotiate contracts and purchase orders for prospective, new, and existing accounts. - Maintain the Salesforce database and ensure all records are accurate, current, and appropriately organized. - Prepare orders and quotes and maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline reporting. - Collaborate closely with field sales team members to proactively manage opportunities and achieve territory objectives. - Conduct inbound and outbound prospecting and convert engagements into qualified leads. - Manage workload effectively, including goal setting, forecasting, and scheduling. - Support marketing initiatives, including trade shows and company meetings (quarterly and annual), as required. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Two or more years of successful sales experience. - Demonstrated interest in technology; telecommunications industry knowledge is preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a professional demeanor. - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills across in-person and virtual settings. - Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, where applicable.
