Project Manager

Role Description The Project Manager will manage projects that are aimed at delivering M-Files solutions to customers. Responsibilities and Duties: - Deliver customer projects on schedule and with high customer satisfaction and quality, while ensuring the defined budget and work effort objectives are met. - In the project sales phase: - Planning the project so that it can be delivered to meet the defined objectives. - Co-operating with Solution Architect to ensure that the delivered solution has been defined so that relevant details of delivery, as well as effort estimation, have been properly addressed. - Co-operating with Sales to ensure that project budget is sufficient to enable needed level of resourcing. - Co-operating with Manager/Director, Services in relevant region, to indicate the needed resourcing for the project, and to ensure such resource will be available. - Co-operating with Subcontracting Manager, to ensure the needed subcontracted deliveries can be acquired. - In the project execution phase: - Ensuring the needed consulting, Product Development (PD) and subcontracted resources are available for the project. - Establishing the project work practices, meetings and required means of communication. - Ensuring that the roles, responsibilities, expectations for each of the project stakeholders have been understood and acknowledged. - Defines the tasks allocated to the project team and external stakeholders, and follows up their completion. - Establishes and maintains the required (sufficiently high) level of communication and transparency with the customer. - Ensuring any deviations to project goals and targets are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. - Handling any scope change requests, and ensures that the impact of the changes is analyzed, and the changes get approved along with their impact on project schedule and cost. - Driving project into completion and get the deliveries approved by the customer. - *Travel could be as high as 25% or more. Collaboration Opportunities - Reports and escalates project delivery issues to, and gets guidance from, Team manager or Director, Project Management Office. - Raises subcontracting needs to Subcontracting Manager and co-operates in subcontractor selection and managing the subcontracting. - Co-operates with Sales (Sales Manager, Key Account Manager) in projects. - Co-operates with Manager/Director, Services in relevant region to receive needed consulting resources for projects. - Co-operates with SW Team Manager (Customer Projects, PD), to receive needed PD tasks for the projects. - Co-operates with Service Managers to plan and execute transition from the project to service management.
