Product Teams at Mastercard Our objective is to build best in class payment experiences, greater relevance and increased brand preference among consumers, merchants, financial institutions and strategic partners. We drive the product strategy and go to market for consumer and commercial portfolios, digital product experiences and new payment flows across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Our Summer Intern program is a 9-week comprehensive program that offers exposure to multiple business areas and practices, and potential for a Graduate role in our Launcher program. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a real work environment while contributing to the department's objectives. You will also be tasked with completing projects that will enhance your skills and knowledge relevant to the Product Management role. Job Description• Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support evolution of a wide array of programs across Mastercard business• Liaise with global customer base to identify opportunities to improve current programs and develop understanding of customer needs• Support larger team functions related to ensuring customer compliance with Mastercard standards• Will work with analytic insights and tools to facilitate compliance, investigative, and reporting initiatives• Perform project management duties, creating and documenting processes, developing timelines, managing compliance cases, supporting risk mitigation for our third parties • Communicate across key stakeholders to out into place action plans to address vulnerabilities and weaknesses• Interface with customers, both internal and external, to effectively communicate and educate on program rules, procedures and best practices• Perform desktop research to identify regional or global trends and develop key performance metrics and reporting• Assist with ad hoc requests, participate in special projects as required, and provide cross-functional support as needed Program Components • Work on client projects with members of the Product Management team. • Participate in social events with other Mastercard interns. • Deliver a presentation on learnings at the end of the program.
