Regional Business Manager
FMC
• Own regional sales performance, ensuring sales objectives are met and aligned with financial targets • Forecast regional sales accurately and manage budgets to ensure cost‑effective resource utilization • Incorporate key business drivers, competitive intelligence, dashboard insights, and market dynamics into territory and account planning • Establish and maintain strong, senior-level relationships with major customers and strategic accounts • Negotiate complex commercial agreements with major customers to optimize revenue and long-term value • Lead the utilization of resources (sales, technical support) to achieve optimum account profitability and to provide value added services to accounts • Ensure maximum account penetration to deepen customer relationships and expand sales opportunities driving regional segmentation efforts • Lead the deployment of sales and technical resources to deliver value added solutions and optimize account profitability • Identify, communicate, and anticipate customer needs; influence internal response to enhance customer satisfaction and retention • Collaborate on cross‑functional business teams (Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure aligned execution • Provide regional leadership and market insights to support the development of marketing initiatives, ensuring maximum ROI • Effectively communicate and execute FMC marketing strategies across the region • Select, develop, motivate, and manage regional sales staff to ensure department and business goals are achieved • Establish a culture of leadership, teamwork, accountability, and performance
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Agriculture or related field required
- MBA preferred
- 6+ years sales and/or marketing or related experience required
- 2 + years commercial experience in a people management role
- Ability to coach, develop, and manage performance of sales professionals
- Proficiency with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and data‑driven decision making
- Demonstrated strategic, financial, and business acumen
- Attitude of respect across all levels of organizations
- Experience in both sales and marketing a plus
- Ability to travel around 40%
