Job Description Assistant Manager, Private Clients Location: Guernsey Schedule: 36.25 hours per week Type: Hybrid, Permanent Job Summary As an Assistant Manager, Private Clients in Guernsey, you will administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures (trusts, companies, and related vehicles) in line with client service agreements and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. You will help deliver a responsive, high-quality service to private clients and intermediaries, while supporting the team lead with day-to-day oversight and coaching of junior colleagues. This role requires strong technical fiduciary administration capability, sound risk awareness, and the ability to manage priorities in a regulated environment. Key responsibilities - Administer a portfolio of complex private client fiduciary structures, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to internal procedures and GFSC-aligned regulatory requirements - Ensure administration is completed in line with current tax and legal advice, escalating appropriately to the Client Manager/Client Director - Maintain consistent, timely client service and clear communications, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept appropriately informed - Liaise with beneficiaries, bankers, investment advisers, auditors, lawyers, and other third parties on matters relating to the portfolio - Oversee entity transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date statutory and client records, including drafting minutes and meeting notes to an appropriate standard - Manage fee invoicing and debt administration proactively, supporting timely billing and cash collection - Identify and respond to fiduciary and regulatory risk factors (including trigger events), escalating issues and documenting outcomes appropriately - Support the team lead with team coordination, deputising when required, and delivering portfolio or operational projects to agreed deadlines - Delegate routine tasks to administrators while retaining oversight, and provide day-to-day coaching/training to support development and quality outcomes - Take responsibility for relevant regulatory and operational deliverables (e.g., FATCA, CRS, payment procedures, fiduciary reviews, audit action points) and liaise with auditors as needed Required Qualifications - Proven experience in a regulated fiduciary, private client, or professional services environment (trust and company administration experience strongly relevant) - Working knowledge of Guernsey fiduciary services requirements and strong awareness of compliance and risk obligations in a regulated business - Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain high attention to detail - Experience supervising, coaching, or reviewing the work of junior colleagues - Strong IT skills and confidence using core systems and Microsoft Office tools - Commitment to continuous professional development and learning Preferred Qualifications - Relevant professional qualification (or working towards), such as STEP or ICSA/CGI - Experience with FATCA/CRS classifications and filings, audit support, and maintaining robust client records - Familiarity with Guernsey economic substance considerations and industry developments impacting private clients - Previous bank signatory authority (or readiness to be considered), such as approval for payments up to £50,000 in line with internal controls About Us CSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide. Role Description We are looking for a Hotel Maintenance Manager to take care of our hotel’s infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity). You will manage maintenance personnel and plan various renovation and repair projects. In this role, you should be organized and proactive. Responsibilities - Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards. - Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, tennis courts). - Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests. - Plan and oversee renovations and construction. - Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages). - Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy. - Supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians and Janitors. - Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. - Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. - In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations. - Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus. - Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management). - Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly. - Problem-solving aptitude. - Excellent organizational and leadership skills. - High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred. - Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus.
