Position Summary We’re looking for an entrepreneurial communications pro to support SoFi’s wide-ranging efforts across crypto, digital assets, and financial technology. The [Senior] Manager, Communications will drive programs that raise awareness for and deepen trust in SoFi’s products that serve consumers and businesses alike. More than just “crypto PR,” this role is a perfect fit for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves with product and business teams, demystifying complex topics for people and businesses who are new to crypto, collaborating with companies that partner with SoFi, and finding creative ways to break through the noise – all in the same week. Key Responsibilities Build programs that drive awareness of SoFi’s crypto products and services: Conceive and execute communications campaigns that engage a wide range of media, influencers, analysts, and other influential audiences surrounding SoFi’s expanding crypto product offeringsSupport distribution of SoFi crypto offerings through enterprise partnerships: Collaborate with SoFi partners and clients to facilitate the adoption of our crypto services and digital asset infrastructureCraft messaging and other assets that engage both crypto-curious and crypto-native audiences: Develop communications materials that educate and inspire audiences to action, reflecting deep empathy for the varying levels of understanding of – and confidence in – digital assets - Navigate a fast-moving media environment: Maintain an extensive, up-to-date knowledge of the media ecosystem and how to maximize investments across owned, earned, and paid - Serve as a trusted advisor: Support business, product, and marketing leaders as SoFi with insights and recommendations on communication strategies and risk mitigation Drive measurement and optimization: Track performance metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve our team’s impactHarness technology to extend our impact: Ensure we maximize the value of existing AI tools and evaluate new ones to expand our impact Qualifications - 7+ years of diverse communications experience, with strong preference given to candidates who have worked in crypto-native and traditional finance settings - Excellent messaging development, writing, presentation, and project management skills - Proven track record of generating earned media and enhancing brand reach in crowded environments - Strong relationships with relevant reporters, podcasters, influencers, editors, and/or producers - Strong understanding of data and analytics in communications, from storytelling to impact measurement - Experience in working within complex, matrixed organizations and managing cross-functional teams - Bachelor’s degree Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Role Description As a Practice Coordinator, you play a vital role in our mission to improve lives.
