ServiceNow Developer

Cedars-Sinai

• Design, configure, and develop custom applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. • Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, business rules, workflows, UI policies, and UI actions. • Implement and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, or other APIs. • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and module deployments. • Monitor the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform. • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and collaborators to gather and analyze requirements. • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to deliver incremental improvements. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, configuration, and user guides.

Job Requirements

  • Three (3) plus years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
  • Demonstrable experience in configuring and customizing modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SPM.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide scripting.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools like Integration Hub.
  • Solid grasp with ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Expertise in system performance tuning.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or related discipline, preferred.
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator. (preferred)
  • ITIL v3 Certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.

In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between federal business stakeholders and our technical development teams. You will be responsible for translating complex mission requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and maintaining the highest quality of data in our backlog.
