Finance Director

• Oversee all fiscal operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian and international financial regulations. • Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential M&A opportunities. • Work closely with leadership to assess the financial and strategic fit of potential acquisitions. • Prepare and file corporate income and sales tax returns for both Canadian and U.S. operations. • Stay current with international tax laws to ensure compliance with all relevant tax policies. • Oversee QuickBooks Online (QBO) management for accurate financial reporting and bookkeeping. • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data within the system. • Manage cash flow to maintain the financial stability of the organization. • Develop and maintain profit and loss (P&L) statements and cash flow forecasts to inform decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in Quebec.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial management software.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax laws, along with international tax regulations.
  • Experience with financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong self-motivation and discipline.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English is required.
