Role Description The SD Module Lead will be part of the IT SAP Global Center of Excellence (IT SAP COE) for CONMED, operational from India. This role is crucial in the overall IT SAP COE structure. The SD Module Lead is an expert in SAP (especially in Order to Cash Processes) responsible for setting and managing the organization's SAP IT landscape in alignment with business requirements of Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance Departments. - Drive SAP solution architecture and business design for Sales and Distribution Organization. - Strengthen partnership with other Module Leads. - Act as the key contact person (SPOC) for the business team/On-Site IT Team for SAP-related matters. - Liaise between the IT SAP COE Team, Business Technology Partners, and professional services delivery resources. - Set standards, define best practices, and engage in research and innovation. - Work on delivery projects, shaping SAP architectural design, and providing architectural quality assurance. - Mastery-level competency in SAP Sales & Distribution Module, Material Master Concepts, Warehouse Management Solutions, and Charge Back solutions like VISTEX. Qualifications - Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field to the area of responsibility. - Advanced degree preferred (MBA Sales & Marketing or Finance). - Certification in SAP: Preferred (SD Module). - 10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong functional knowledge of Sales Module. - Minimum of 7 years prior experience in managing large-scale SAP related programs in the capacity of Module Lead for Order to Cash (SD Module). Requirements - SAP S4/Hana – At least 2-3 Implementation Projects (Green Field or Migration). - Demonstrated expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module configuration and implementation. - Experience in designing Sales Org Structure and delivering multi-dimensional reporting. - Integration experience with 3 PL systems is a must. - Knowledge of interaction between FICO and other modules like MM, PP, etc. - Experience with Credit Limits, Complex Pricing Structure, discounts, and Chargebacks. - Global experience in legal requirements, especially Tax, Intercompany, Intra Company Transactions, Electronic Reporting (E-Invoicing, etc.). - Deep knowledge of diverse areas of technology including ERP, Master Data, Warehouse Management. - Deep knowledge of SAP technical and functional architecture, data model along with new and emerging SAP capabilities. - Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or life science industry preferred. - Experience in fast-paced global multinational matrix organization. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems. - Experience in managing Internal/External Auditors for SOX compliance - ITGC. - Team leadership skills to guide and manage a team of SAP professionals.
