Role Description Proarch is Seeking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our Global Support Center (GSC) team. This role serves as an escalation point for complex network-related incidents across global client environments and supports 24×7 operations for mission critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong hands on experience in enterprise networking and firewall technologies, excels in troubleshooting, and is comfortable working in an MSP/NOC-style environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable operations. - Act as an L2/L3 escalation engineer for complex network incidents from the GSC / NOC team. - Manage and support cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure networking services and Azure AD administration. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to firewalls, routing & switching, VPN connectivity, and network segmentation/security controls. - Configure, manage, and support enterprise firewall platforms, including Barracuda CloudGen Firewalls and FortiGate Firewalls. - Design and manage IP addressing and network topology, including subnet masks, CIDR calculations, VLAN planning, and NAT configurations. - Support and maintain secure remote connectivity through site-to-site VPNs, client-to-site VPNs, and IPSec/SSL VPN tunnels. - Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs. - Participate in major incident bridges (P1/P2) and drive root cause analysis (RCA). - Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Server teams during cross-domain incidents. - Perform network changes following established change management processes. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. - Implement and monitor network security controls and best practices to protect corporate and client environments. - Ensure effective ticket management, with adherence to defined KPIs and SLAs. - Collaborate with architecture teams to design hybrid infrastructure solutions integrating on premises and cloud systems. - Conduct performance tuning, patching, and upgrades for network and related cloud environments. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 5–10 years of experience in networking, cloud administration, or related IT infrastructure roles. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP or equivalent. - Cloud infrastructure support and Azure AD administration. - Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, routing & switching, subnetting, VLANs, and NAT. - Experience with Azure networking and VPN connectivity. - Hands on experience with at least one major firewall platform (e.g., Barracuda CloudGen Firewalls, FortiGate Firewalls). - Familiarity with ITSM tools and structured incident management. - Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. - Clear verbal and written communication. - Team oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor others. - Ticket management and escalation handling. - KPI/SLA performance tracking.
