• Respond via phone call to inbound inquiries about ValGenesis products and solutions quickly and enthusiastically. Answer questions and determine the prospect’s interest and ability in moving forward with a sales engagement. • Achieve or exceed defined KPI Goals based on qualifying prospects according to established guidelines. • Proactively reach out via phone call to marketing leads that have self-qualified through a determined set of cumulative activities. • Proactively engage high-interest individuals on LinkedIn and other channels to introduce ValGenesis products and solutions. This includes cold-calling select lists of high-potential individuals. • After a lead is qualified, schedule a pre-demo meeting with appropriate regional sales person. • Occasionally attend virtual or in-person events (when safe and as able) as a ValGenesis representative. • Update marketing and sales systems with details of phone calls and lead outreach. Ensure data is accurate for use by sales team. • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to provide candid, clear feedback on lead quality, marketing channel quality, and process effectiveness. Your insight is unique and valuable. • Contribute to regular reporting as necessary. • Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with products and solutions.
Job Requirements
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in a call center or other role where the majority of work was spent speaking with customers, prospects or partners over the phone. This is a phone-centric role.
- Previous experience working in the Life Science industry desirable.
- Enthusiasm talking to people and helping them identify solutions that improve their daily professional lives (ie: helping to digitize and streamline efforts).
- Comfort with a blended base-plus-commission salary and desire to hit targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate proactively and is a self-starter
- Possess a strong work ethic including but not limited to staying organized, following process, having strong time management abilities
- Ability to travel 5 – 15% of the time for conferences to manage company exhibit / booth

The Senior Business Development Manager, Tax Channel serves as the Tax & Wealth Partners Program owner responsible for recruiting, activating, and managing strategic advisor partnerships within the Tax Channel. This role builds and scales a structured advisor‑to‑advisor partnership model by connecting Planning Advisors with Referral Advisors through both internal and external sourcing efforts.
