Paralegal, Legal Advisors Worktop Functional Area System
Work Life Group
• Consolidate, upload, review, and publish documents to LAWFAS. • Complete metadata and curate information in line with records management policies. • Provide document search, legal research support, and help desk assistance to LAWFAS users. • Develop templates, business rules, workflows, and reference data. • Create and maintain training materials and knowledge resources for new users. • Capture user requirements, produce use cases for functional enhancements, and prepare test scenarios for new developments. • Develop collaboration workflows and workspaces for NATO entities. • Archive key documents (letters, agreements) and manage data standards. • Administer the LAWFAS platform (create accounts, reset passwords) and manage the technical publishing workflow. • Update and explore solutions for securing and assuring the integrity of data within LAWFAS. • Analyze and continually improve the usability of the platform. • Develop technical solutions in collaboration with NCIA staff. • Manage the archiving process in accordance with the NATO Information Management Policy (NIMP).
Job Requirements
- Competency in records and knowledge management and document library curation demonstrated through relevant experience or training.
- One year of experience in the last three years in supporting a common document repository and collaborative tool and platform comparable to LAWFAS.
- Practical experience in the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of a document repository, knowledge management system, or records management system integrating new policies, processes, technology and organization.
- Knowledge of Information Computer Technology (ICT), with five years’ ICT experience in a comparable professional setting.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
