• Track global market trends, relevant vendors and emerging technologies • Write evidence-based content that is easily consumed, defensible and actionable • Deliver high-quality actionable advice to an executive client audience • Create and deliver presentations for webinars, executive briefings and other client-facing events • Build credibility as a cybersecurity expert representing Gartner Business & Technology Insights • Deliver outstanding sales and service support to retain and grow the Gartner business • Identify research process improvements or develop new processes • Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant IT and/or program executive leadership
  • An informed understanding of the strategic, security and operational challenges
  • Experience in security roles (e.g. Government CISO or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing NIST, DoD/W and IC cybersecurity standards/policy
  • Extensive experience leading civilian and/or defense strategy and/or implementation
  • Experience as an auditor for cybersecurity compliance programs preferred
  • Demonstrated executive presence
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
  • Strong business and financial acumen
