As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you won’t just sell solutions—you’ll shape how health systems adopt and scale genomics at an enterprise level. By leading initiatives that expand access, embed Myriad solutions into clinical workflows, and drive measurable clinical and business outcomes, you’ll play a direct role in advancing the future of patient care. This role blends strategic account leadership, digital transformation, and consultative partnership at the intersection of genomics, technology, and healthcare delivery. The KAM fuels growth by executing EMR and digital integrations, activating hereditary cancer screening protocols, and delivering high‑impact strategic initiatives across aligned clinical accounts and networks. You will ensure Myriad’s tools, workflows, and programs are not only implemented—but fully adopted and optimized—so providers can focus on what matters most: delivering better care to more patients. Key Responsibilities - Lead EMR and digital integrations that embed Myriad solutions into clinical workflows by: - Identifying optimal EMR integration pathways (HL7, FHIR, APIs, ordering, results, CDS). - Partnering with IT, informatics, and clinical teams to define requirements, timelines, and go‑live criteria. - Supporting workflow design, EMR configuration (Epic, Cerner, Athena), testing, and validation. - Driving post–go‑live adoption and resolving utilization barriers. - Expanding digital workflows through new products, optimized order sets, and enhanced CDS. - Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution before, during, and after launch. - Design and optimize screening and patient identification programs by: - Assessing and refining digital and manual workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient capture. - Implementing best‑in‑class screening practices that enable earlier detection and appropriate patient segmentation. - Deploying and supporting tools such as questionnaires, EHR filters, registries, and automated outreach. - Partnering with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to tailor programs to each account’s care model and population. - Driving adoption through training, change management, and performance monitoring to improve reach, conversion, and compliance. - Ensure successful execution of Myriad’s strategic priorities by: - Leading product launches, new tools, services, and enterprise partnerships within assigned accounts. - Translating enterprise strategy into clear account plans with defined milestones and success metrics. - Aligning cross‑functional teams around resources, workflows, and messaging. - Driving adoption through workflow implementation, training, and continuous optimization. - Tracking KPIs and delivering insights that demonstrate value and inform future strategy. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred. - 7+ years of field sales experience in biotech, diagnostics, or adjacent fields, including 5+ years in health system account management, EMR implementation, clinical operations, or digital health programs. - Must reside within assigned territory; ability to travel 50–75%. - Proven experience across: - EMR/EHR workflows (Epic, Cerner, Athena), order build, results routing, CDS, and go-live stabilization. - Interoperability (HL7, FHIR, APIs), testing, UAT, and issue resolution. - Program execution, analytics, KPI tracking, and optimization. - Screening protocol design and operationalization. - Change enablement, stakeholder orchestration, and executive communication. - Commercial acumen, systems thinking, problem solving, and customer‑centric decision making. - Ability to influence without authority, manage complexity, and adapt quickly in dynamic environments. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred. - 7+ years of field sales experience in biotech, diagnostics, or adjacent fields, including 5+ years in health system account management, EMR implementation, clinical operations, or digital health programs. - Must reside within assigned territory; ability to travel 50–75%. Benefits - Estimated OTE: $235,796 – $274,746 annually (base + at‑target incentive). - Myriad offers comprehensive, competitive benefits designed for flexibility and well‑being, including: - Medical plans with 100% covered preventive care, HSA/FSA with company contributions, 12‑week paid parental leave, and employer‑paid disability. - Flexible discretionary time off (DTO). - 401(k) with employer match, employee stock purchase program, student debt repayment, and milestone bonuses. - Additional family and wellness benefits include fertility support, childcare resources, mental health, and weight management programs.
