Senior Actuarial Analyst I

Role Description Provide support to the actuarial reserving function in the US. Main focus of the role is to provide the following reserving support for US lines of business: - Assist in the production of internal actuarial analysis. - Prepare and provide data for external actuarial analysis and work with external actuarial consultants. - Assist in internal quarterly review process, including review of loss development patterns and loss activity over the quarter to assess actual versus expected emergence. - Assist in operation of internal controls and communication with internal and external auditors. - Prepare actuarial support for financial statements filings and assist in the financial close process. - Prepare standard/special reports for management. - Assist in integrating newly acquired portfolios into Enstar’s reserving process as needed. - May be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require. The candidate is expected to: - Perform the range of assignments indicated above with a moderate level of guidance. - Contribute with new ideas and innovative approaches to enhance work processes and procedures. - Solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience, judgement, and precedents. - Impact the quality of own work and work of other members of the team, while working within guidelines and policies. - Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. - Demonstrate openness to new situations. - Provide guidance to new team members. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar. - 2-4 Actuarial Exams passed. - Knowledge and substantial working experience with SQL, VBA, Excel, Word, Access and other applicable tools. - Experience with ResQ (or similar reserving software) and programming skills (e.g. Python and R) a plus. - Must be proficient in preparing written technical reports for various purposes. - Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish own work. - Technical knowledge of concepts and procedures required for the role. - 1-3 years of actuarial experience, preferably in property and casualty reserving. - Must be able to properly handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment. - Ability to be part of a team and to effectively work with others, internal and external. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve moderately complex situations and issues. Role Description This position will be working 100% Remotely from your home office in India as part of a distributed team in the USA, Canada, Europe, and several locations in India. We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Analyst (Integrations). - Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and external partners. - Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to support third-party integration initiatives across SavvyMoney products. - Review and interpret technical integration documentation including APIs, endpoints, authentication flows, and data contracts. - Translate partner specifications and product requirements into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). - Write clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. - Create and maintain workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system interaction flows to support implementation. - Collaborate directly with partner technical teams to define integration approaches and resolve technical ambiguities. - Ensure all third-party integrations are kept up to date with the latest partner specifications and endpoint changes. - Work cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, Design, and Product to ensure successful delivery of integration features. - Identify and document edge cases, system dependencies, and failure scenarios within integration workflows. - Define analytics requirements including event tracking, funnel design, KPIs, and data validation needs. - Support end-to-end delivery by ensuring requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with product goals. - Contribute to improving documentation standards, workflows, and integration best practices across teams.
