Role Description This role exists to define and deliver high-impact IoT software solutions for the aviation industry by deeply understanding customer problems and translating them into scalable, data-driven products that drive measurable business outcomes and long-term customer value. Outcomes: What Success Looks Like - Define and deliver a clear IoT product roadmap that improves customer retention, reduces churn, and increases product adoption within 12–24 months. - Establish a continuous product discovery practice, validating solutions through experimentation (A/B testing, MVPs, prototypes) before full-scale development. - Increase customer satisfaction scores by consistently delivering valuable, usable, and reliable product enhancements. - Align cross-functional teams (R&D, Sales, Marketing, Support) around clear product priorities, reducing delivery friction and improving time-to-market. - Drive measurable improvements in product performance, scalability, and reliability through strong collaboration with engineering. - Act as a subject matter expert in IoT solutions, enabling internal teams and supporting pre-sales efforts with customers. Qualifications - Strong experience in product management, software development, or engineering (5+ years). - Solid understanding of IoT ecosystems, cloud computing, and web-based applications. - Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and their application in product design. - Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical documentation. - Familiarity with software development lifecycle, clean code practices, and scalable system design. - Proven ability to lead continuous discovery through customer interviews, usability testing, and data analysis. - Strong prioritization skills based on impact, feasibility, and business value. - Experience collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product decisions and trade-offs. - Ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for customer-centric, evidence-based decisions. - Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. - Understanding of supply chain processes and aviation industry dynamics is an asset. - Experience in pre-sales support and customer-facing engagements is beneficial.
