Strategy and Operations Program Manager Contract type Freelance Location San Francisco, CA Specialty Technology Salary $70.00/hour - $80.00/hour Remote Yes The Sage Group’s Client, an innovative tech entertainment and streaming company owned by one of the largest tech companies in the world, is seeking a Strategy & Operations Program Manager to support a marketing team with various team and departmental projects. Responsibilities: - Head up and run ad-hoc strategic programs - Write business communications and prepare slide decks on behalf of marketing leadership - Provide strategic insights to support data-driven decisions - Ongoing strategic advisory, thought partnership w/ Director on key biz & team operations & decisions - Optimize Director decision making processes – strategic use of key forums to build alignment on key decisions - Drive team meetings - Partner with Director to streamline and prioritize time - Manage documentation of team workflows, spend and capacity - Go to for process questions and alignment with central S&O teams and broader YTM - Go to for day to day operations and OKR process questions - Go to for assistance with materials (decks, trixes etc) for exec-facing presentations - Work closely with VP’s ESO & VP’s team budget manager to ensure spend is properly accounted for and deadlines are properly communicated and met - AdHoc HC & xWF reporting requests (including org chart maintenance) in partnership with VP’s ESO & central S&O team - Develop Onboarding guide and share with new hires - Team Survey validation on quarterly basis - Partner with team members on OKR Narratives - OKR processes & timely submissions in partnership with VP’s ESO and Global I&A - Help team lead develop cohesive results and rationale across initiative sub teams - Partner with Director and sub teams to develop & strengthen content for central exercises - Program manage submissions, deadlines, and sub team comms - Editing or advising comms/newsletters for submission to central newsletters, stakeholder newsletters and exec comms Qualifications: - Experience in Program management, Chief of staff for Director+, Strategy & Operations roles - Excellent verbal and written communication skills – especially for narrative building, deck building - Mostly USA hours, but some flexibility for meetings at different time zones now and then - 7-9 years successfully managing programs in a medium to large corporation - B2C tech company experience required - 4+ years working on marketing-related projects - Experience in marketing-related operations is highly preferred - Consulting experience is highly preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with impeccable attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Commitment to excellence, results, and high-quality output Location: 100% remote in USA, but must live in PT or MT Duration: Through EOY to start, plus strong extension potential Compensation: $70-80hr DOE
