Program Manager, Global Risk
Maleda Tech
• Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional risk reduction programs. • Establish program structure, define milestones, and ensure alignment across stakeholders while maintaining visibility into risks, dependencies, and progress. • Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, drive accountability across teams, and provide oversight to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business impact. • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders across privacy, legal, security, policy, and other partner teams (varying by program), and become a trusted partner to program sponsors and working groups. • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of program processes and protocols. • Scale existing programs, identify areas of opportunity, and apply MVP and phased approaches to deliver results iteratively. • Develop and execute a forward-thinking communication strategy. • Distill complex topics into clear updates for leadership, produce crisp slide presentations, and adjust the level of detail based on audience (working group through VP). • Lead programs through the full lifecycle (planning, design, build, execution, post-launch measurement) with a ~60/40 split between strategic and execution work overall, managing no more than two programs simultaneously. • Use Asana and Airtable for day-to-day program management, Miro for workshops and offsites, and adopt AI tools to work more efficiently.
Job Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of consistent program management experience, with depth in foundational program management fundamentals (planning, design, execution, governance, and reporting)
- Track record managing large cross-functional programs, with evidence of strategic impact (success metrics that show the program moved the needle, e.g., "improved X by Y percent")
- Experience designing and delivering multi-phase programs, including MVP or phase-one approaches
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to dial information up or down based on the audience and produce polished slide presentations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and become a trusted partner to senior leaders and working groups
- Strategic mindset paired with strong execution: comfortable understanding the strategy created by partners, asking the right questions, and designing programs to drive to outcomes
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in environments where industry knowledge may be limited at the start
- Industry background is flexible. Enterprise risk, governance, regulatory compliance, financial services, or banking experience can support faster onboarding but is not required
- Hands-on experience with program management tools such as Asana and Airtable; familiarity with Miro and AI productivity tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Flexibility for exceptional candidates with strong, demonstrated program management experience who otherwise meet the bar.
