Senior Account Executive, Intelligent Transportation Systems
Miovision
Role Description As a Senior Account Executive for Miovision's Intelligent Transportation Systems solutions, you’ll act as the strategic lead for your territory. You will drive regional revenue by cultivating high-level government relationships and delivering complex, hybrid solutions to modernize city infrastructure. You’ll serve as a lead driver for high-value accounts, navigating multi-year procurement cycles and shaping market specifications to help our clients build cities that simply flow. If you’re ready to accelerate our presence in the region and help cities signal a new era of intelligent mobility, you've got the green light. Location and Territory - You will have total ownership over a high-potential region including Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii. - You must be based in one of these states to be considered, as local context is key to building trust with our clients. Objectives and Responsibilities - Own the Region: Develop the strategic roadmap to hit revenue goals and expand Miovision’s footprint across 8 states by developing and executing a comprehensive regional strategic plan; penetrating complex accounts requiring long-term, multi-phased planning. Manage full cycle sales - from prospecting to closing. - Strategic Opportunity Management: Lead the charge on joint RFP responses and navigate complex opportunities to shape specifications toward Miovision’s solutions. - Executive Influence: Cultivate a broad network of influence across the traffic ecosystem, engaging with executive-level buying committees, City Departments, Engineering Firms, Academic experts, and more to build consensus and guide accounts through the complex public-sector journey to drive long-term adoption. - Collaborate to Win: Lead cross-functional “deal teams” (including Public Safety, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering), serving as a definitive internal thought leader to help you close new business and expand existing accounts. - Advise and Educate: Become the go-to subject matter expert on ITS solutions, helping city leaders understand the future of "Intelligent Mobility," articulating technical value propositions and influencing product roadmaps based on market feedback. - Market Insight and Positioning: Monitor shifting industry trends, competitor movements, and technical evolutions to effectively differentiate the Miovision value proposition within the ITS landscape. - Strategic Forecasting and Growth: Develop comprehensive sales action plans and rigorous monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models to ensure predictable pipeline growth and regional scale. - Maintain Data Integrity: Use Salesforce with discipline to provide leadership with accurate forecasts and clear visibility into your pipeline. - Travel: Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and prospects, and represent Miovision at trade shows, conferences, etc. Qualifications - GovTech Experience: Track record of success selling mobility technology to government agencies; understanding of long cycles, the RFP process, and the "public good" mindset. - Domain Expertise: Deep-rooted understanding of the Mobility or ITS landscape, ideally backed by a network of existing relationships with key agencies and engineering consultants in your territory. - Ecosystem and Channel Synergy: Experience working with channel partners, distributors, consultants, and other key players in the traffic ecosystem; understanding how to leverage these relationships to amplify reach and navigate local procurement hurdles. - Strategic Acumen: Ability to build territory plans and manage a complex pipeline (Salesforce or similar CRM mastery is a must). - Entrepreneurial Autonomy: Drive to operate independently and own results, recognizing that winning in this space is a team sport. - Strategic Selling and Influence: Comfortable handling high-stakes communication; capable of building trust with senior city officials and engineering executives alike. - Hybrid Technology Fluency: Comfortable navigating the nuances of software systems and hardware-integrated deployments; able to effectively communicate the value of both. - Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the executive presence to deliver high-impact presentations; proven ability to translate complex infrastructure solutions into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Travel: Ready to meet customers and represent at major trade shows up to 50% (must be able to travel freely between the USA and Canada and hold a valid passport). Benefits - Comprehensive Coverage: Well-being covered from day one with comprehensive health benefits, 24/7 virtual healthcare access, and dedicated wellness programs. - Financial Future: Build for tomorrow with our RRSP/401K Matching Plan and share in the company's success through our Variable Incentive Plan. - Time to Recharge: Unique Mio-Days and flexible vacation policy. - Work & Life Support: Flexible work options, an internet subsidy, a remote work allowance, and enhanced leave for new parents.
