Job Purpose and Impact The Field Representative will focus on selling products and working closely with equine, deer and beef producers and farmers, services and solutions through intermediaries such as distributors and resellers. In this role, you will nurture the relationship with the channel partners and distributors, implement the company's sales and marketing activities and represent the organization to promote and sell the organization's products and services. This is a home-office-based role; however, candidates must reside in East-Central or Northeast Texas. The position requires up to 70% travel within the designated area of responsibility. Key Accountabilities - Maintain and expand relationships with organizations, providing products, services and solutions. - Develop and deliver product demonstrations, sales bids and presentations to channel partners and distributors. - Promote and sell products and services to individuals or other organizations. - Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends. - Support business growth by disseminating favorable information of the organization and its products and services. - Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. - Other duties as assigned. #LI-FA1 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in animal science, Agribusiness, business or related field OR equivalent experience - Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales, business development or related field - Industry experience in feed, animal nutrition, or agriculture - Able and willing to travel up to 70% - Valid driver’s license in good standing Preferred Qualifications - Sales experience in animal nutrition products, feed, animal health, additives and supplements - Self-starter with strong self-motivation, able to work independently while proactively driving results - Experience building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
