The primary depot for this position is Watford Gap Motorway Compound (M1, Jct 16/17) (NN67UZ). However, the role is primarily remote and will require travel to multiple locations as necessary. This position offers a competitive salary and overtime. The standard hours of work are 42 hours per week, Monday – Friday. You will be required to participate in a standby rota. What You’ll Do: - Carrying out reactive maintenance to highways technology equipment, including but not limited to; Signs, Signals, Traffic Signals, CCTV, Emergency Roadside Telephones, Queue Protection and traffic counting equipment (including Radar) and Weather Stations. - Perform planned cyclic maintenance in accordance with client requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and British Standards. - Carry out electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets for fault identification and resolution. - Prepare detailed reports and documentation covering maintenance actions, fault findings, upgrades, and asset conditions. - Provide expert technical advice to colleagues, clients, and contractors on procedures, issues, and best practices. - Assist with project administration and control, including progress tracking, resource management, and regulatory compliance. - Coordinate with third parties (contractors, suppliers, local authorities) during the deployment and integration of new highways communications infrastructure. - Participate in system upgrades, technology enhancements, and commissioning of new equipment. - Oversee asset inventory and support emergency responses to critical incidents affecting highway technology systems. - Contribute to health and safety compliance by performing risk assessments and following safe working practices. - Engage in training initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and pursue continuous professional development to stay updated on industry advancements. - Organise daily tasks as allocated by the Works Coordinator to ensure they are completed to client set time scales. - As a Lone Worker, ensure that Health and Safety rules are always followed. - To be able to volunteer for nightworks when and if required. Role Description This role will provide administrative services and assistance to the Field Service team. Key Responsibilities - Actively communicate with the Plant Production Planner to maintain an up to date valid delivery plan. - Identify and resolve delivery problems in conjunction with the Plant Production Planner, Field Officers and Agricultural Manager. - Liaise with Simplot Harvesters regarding delivery details, harvesting requirements and conditions. - Maintain selected site databases, systems and records and ensure accuracy of information. - Maintain and update all other appropriate records and filing including list of Growers and Contractors details including but not limited to contracts, addresses, volume delivered against contract and other relevant information as determined from time to time. - Collect statistical data and collate team KPI’s to monitor team performance and compliance. - Analyze basic Field Service data for trends and developments. - Monitor, query and maintain Tracmap and Agridata systems. - Maintain a good rapport with raw product suppliers, delivery contractors and the community so that the Company’s position is respected and maintained. - Participate, convey information and contribute meaningfully to Field Service and Planning meetings and ensure continuous improvements are made to procedures and systems. - Develop Individual Performance Plans and participate in the review process. - Maintain paddock record sheet database. - Collect and collate supplier scorecards and Grower Performance Review information. Role Description The Pre-press Technician is responsible for preparing and processing digital files for printing on various equipment platforms, ensuring that all artwork and layouts are correctly formatted for production. This role involves preflight incoming files for potential issues before being used in the printing process. Must be familiar with both Mac and PC environments and have experience working with the Adobe suite of products along with various other prepress applications for printing file management.
