Role Description We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Administrator offering remote working. Role Description Are you ready to make a tangible impact on the UK's strategic road network? We’re recruiting for a Highways Technology Field Engineer to join our dynamic Area 7 team, where innovation meets infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the maintenance and repair of roadside technology assets across National Highways Area 7. From traffic signals and electronic signage to fault diagnostics and system upgrades, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our roads safe, efficient, and future-ready. The primary depot for this position is Watford Gap Motorway Compound (M1, Jct 16/17) (NN67UZ). However, the role is primarily remote and will require travel to multiple locations as necessary. This position offers a competitive salary and overtime. The standard hours of work are 42 hours per week, Monday – Friday. You will be required to participate in a standby rota. What You’ll Do: - Carrying out reactive maintenance to highways technology equipment, including but not limited to; Signs, Signals, Traffic Signals, CCTV, Emergency Roadside Telephones, Queue Protection and traffic counting equipment (including Radar) and Weather Stations. - Perform planned cyclic maintenance in accordance with client requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and British Standards. - Carry out electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets for fault identification and resolution. - Prepare detailed reports and documentation covering maintenance actions, fault findings, upgrades, and asset conditions. - Provide expert technical advice to colleagues, clients, and contractors on procedures, issues, and best practices. - Assist with project administration and control, including progress tracking, resource management, and regulatory compliance. - Coordinate with third parties (contractors, suppliers, local authorities) during the deployment and integration of new highways communications infrastructure. - Participate in system upgrades, technology enhancements, and commissioning of new equipment. - Oversee asset inventory and support emergency responses to critical incidents affecting highway technology systems. - Contribute to health and safety compliance by performing risk assessments and following safe working practices. - Engage in training initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and pursue continuous professional development to stay updated on industry advancements. - Organise daily tasks as allocated by the Works Coordinator to ensure they are completed to client set time scales. - As a Lone Worker, ensure that Health and Safety rules are always followed. - To be able to volunteer for nightworks when and if required. Role Description We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent People Systems & MI Manager to join the People Services Systems team. This is a fully remote role. The salary is £45,000 - £50,000. HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 Hour, Monday to Friday. Join our vibrant, inclusive community in the People Systems team, as the People Systems & MI Manager. The purpose of the role is to support the daily operation and maintenance of the SuccessFactors platform, across various modules, as well as other systems and business tools. Providing support to business users and key stakeholders while ensuring data integrity and process efficiency. Enabling the business operations through the design and distribution of people related data and management information. What you will do: - People Systems: - Support the daily administration of SAP SuccessFactors and other business systems and tools. - Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues, implement system enhancements, changes requiring integration/back-end system configuration and ensure data integrity and security. - Position Management & maintenance of corporate structure including workflow/GAS within SAP SuccessFactors. - Maintenance of master data objects and business rules across various SuccessFactors modules. - Support end-users and key stakeholders with technical advice and expertise. - Management Information (MI) & Reporting: - Support the delivery of the Data & Reporting Strategy. - Production of regular and ad-hoc reporting, adhering to service level agreements. - Working with key stakeholders on the design and output of data held in SuccessFactors. - Partner with relevant business stakeholders to translate data findings into actionable recommendations for business strategies, initiatives and/or projects. - Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). - Create and maintain semantic models and analytical views to support reporting within SAC. - Data Management: - Develop and maintain databases, systems and reporting tools to ensure accurate and secure storage of data. - Support any integration of data between SAP SuccessFactors and dependent systems. - Monitor, improve and/or implement any relevant data governance processes and protocols. - Regularly audit data management practices to promote continuous improvement. - Design and maintain HR data models within SAP Datasphere to support reporting and analytics. - Build and maintain graphical and analytical views in SAP Datasphere to enable HR reporting. - Implement data governance controls including role-based access, data classification and data security. - Projects and Systems Updates: - Assist projects and business initiatives through subject matter expertise and/or solution design/testing. - Assist with the implementation and testing of system updates and new releases, including assessing impact and implementing opt-in/opt-out changes. - Support periodic business activities (i.e. Bonus, Salary Review etc.) using specialist skills in data analysis, transformation and migration. - Collaborative Working: - Assisting in the training and understanding for all People Services teams in key processes within specialist area(s). - Ensuring collaborative working and support with all relevant stakeholders; both internal and external, i.e., Business Units, People Partners, Group HR, IT, Recruitment. - Engage with stakeholders regarding continued compliance across policies and procedures. - Share expertise, knowledge, and best practices across the business to enhance overall performance. Qualifications - Strong analytical skills / ability to analyse data in support of work functions. - Project support / management. - Hands-on experience with MDF objects, business rules, workflow configuration and event reasons. - Familiarity of calculated fields, filters and role-based report access. - Experience of bi-annual SuccessFactors release cycles, regression testing. - Knowledge of data privacy principles and how they apply within SuccessFactors. - SAP Datasphere (data modelling, graphical views, semantic models). - SAP Analytics Cloud (Story reports, dashboards, predictive analytics). - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university/college in relevant area (Desirable). - Project Management Qualification – APM/Prince 2 (Desirable). - CIPD Qualified (Desirable). - Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud. - Experience in a HR environment. - Experience in a Customer Services environment (Desirable). - Experience in Employee Relations (Desirable). - Computer literate in Microsoft Office. - Previous use of HRIS such as SAP / Success Factors. - Previous use of Case Management Systems (ASM). - Some working knowledge in the creation, review and process improvement for Standard Operating Procedures. - Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management and engagement.
