Position Summary The Nutrition Center at Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with comprehensive nutrition assessments—an essential component of individualized care plans for a wide range of conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work across several multidisciplinary clinic settings, supporting diverse patient populations. The position is based at our Weymouth satellite location and is a 30 hours per week, temporary role through the end of 2026. The schedule includes 2 days onsite and 1 day remote per week. Key Responsibilities: - Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings. - Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans. - Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician. Minimum Qualifications: Education: - A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics Experience: - 3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition Certifications/Licensure: - Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian - Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors. Role Description The goal of the Bilingual Patient Advocate Specialist is to successfully resolve account balances for medical services provided by multiple healthcare facilities to patients by contacting the patients by telephone and screening them to determine if the patient is eligible for state, county, and federal assistance programs.
