SQL Engineer / Report Developer

Role Description - Design, develop, and maintain reports using SSRS and Power BI. - Translate business requirements into accurate, scalable reporting solutions. - Build and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting needs. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports. - Maintain and improve existing reporting infrastructure. - Partner with stakeholders to understand business context and reporting needs. - Identify trends, anomalies, and insights within reporting outputs. - Present findings in a clear, business-friendly manner. Qualifications - Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI. - Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning. - Experience working with large and complex datasets across multiple sources. - Proven ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions. - Strong understanding of data accuracy, validation, and consistency. - Solid business acumen and ability to interpret data in a business context. - Ability to explain data and reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills. Requirements - Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, Python, or other analytical tools (Nice to Have). - Exposure to financial, lending, or operational datasets, reporting framework improvements, or analytical methodologies (Nice to Have).
