Join our Team About this opportunity: As a Solution Architect - Packet Core, you will design and lead implementation of 4G/5G core network solutions that sit at the heart of our customers' mobile networks. You will translate business and technical requirements into robust, cloud-native Packet Core architectures that are reliable, secure, and easy to operate at scale. You will join a highly skilled Packet Core team focused on delivering and operating Ericsson's industry-leading 5G Core portfolio in a reliable and predictable way, increasing automation and efficiency in our delivery and operations, and continuously building competence in cloud, containers and emerging technologies such as AI/ML. This is a collaborative, learning-oriented environment where people challenge and support each other and feel accountable for customer outcomes. What you will do: - Lead end-to-end technical design for 4G/5G Packet Core (EPC/5GC) solutions, - Analyze customer requirements and environments - Drive integrated project governance - Champion automation and CI/CD in Packet Core delivery and operations, leveraging tools such as Cloud Core Pipelines, GitLab and CNOM to enable repeatable, tested deployments of CNFs on Kubernetes-based platforms. - Collaborate effectively in distributed teams (Market Areas, Solution Areas, SDUs), facilitating clear communication and technical alignment across locations and time zones. - Provide technical leadership to delivery and operations teams, ensuring a smooth handover from design to integration/operations and supporting troubleshooting of complex issues when needed. - Share knowledge and mentor others, contributing to internal communities, training sessions and solution documentation so that the wider team can learn from your experience. Role Description The primary objective is to lead the delivery and execution of AI engineering projects, ensuring the application of engineering standards, alignment with business objectives, and the delivery of measurable value through the implementation of modern AI systems.
