Job Description

FlexPLM Functional Architect

PTC

• Define, align and document client’s PLM roadmap • Support new business opportunities and project growth within the current project by selling incremental value or defining and developing the next step of client roadmaps • Leads the consulting team in planning, analysis, development and testing of FlexPLM to ensure they meet client expectations. • Investigates the current business processes to identify problems, complexities, non-value-added steps, and inefficiencies that could be improved • Leads the analysis and documentation of customer requirements and contributes to the design and delivery of the Solution(s). • Supports the development of written specifications (e.g. Functional Design Documents, System Description Documents and Use Case Documents) to capture business process requirements for PTC solutions. • Own the financials of the program including cost, revenue, and margin • Maps customer processes to the technology through a solid understanding of both PTC’s software capabilities and the designed usage of the software. • Provides ongoing project status to internal and customer cross functional stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience guiding clients in the design and architecture of their Retail PLM platforms (FlexPLM or Centric PLM preferred)
  • Availability for a consistently high rate (50%) of overnight travel
  • Consulting experience in a retail, engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Development processes and methodologies
