Role Description The Key Account Manager (KAM) is a field‑based commercial role responsible for strategically driving the commercial objectives of selected Alnylam products within an assigned territory in Spain. The role has a strong focus on developing and executing territory‑specific key account plans, in close cross‑functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and other field‑based colleagues, to support optimized patient identification, referral, and care pathways. The KAM builds trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, ensures consistent and compliant execution of country strategy, and acts as a local ambassador for Alnylam’s RNAi platform, always operating in line with applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Qualifications - University degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, health, business, or equivalent experience). - Minimum 5 years’ experience in specialty care sales and/or Key Account Management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. - Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and add value within complex healthcare environments. - Proven ability to build long‑term, trust‑based relationships with healthcare professionals. - Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory (including overnight travel); valid driver’s license required. - Fluency in English (written and spoken) is preferred. Requirements - Present a positive image of the company and develop awareness about RNAi platform to relevant customer groups. - Develop and execute territory‑specific strategic account plans aligned with overall product and country strategy. - Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key healthcare stakeholders and decision‑makers. - Drive product adoption and market penetration through consistent, high‑quality engagement and communication. - Analyze territory dynamics to identify and develop relevant centers for diagnosis and treatment. - Support patient identification, diagnosis, and referral pathways through effective network management. - Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and other internal partners to ensure coordinated execution. - Organize and support local meetings, educational initiatives, and events in partnership with internal teams. - Represent Alnylam at local and national meetings, congresses, and professional events. - Ensure accurate, timely reporting and maintain high‑quality CRM data. - Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies, industry codes, and local laws and regulations. Role Description In this role as a District Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing the robotic automation business in the Midwest U.S. region, specific to Kansas, Arkansas, and western Missouri. This will be done by directly selling applications in all areas to our end users while also managing FANUC America Integration partners within the assigned territory. This will require regular travel to our customer sites, tradeshows, and other events both within and outside of the assigned territory. The Senior Account Representative requires flexibility in providing back-up support for other Senior and Replacement Accounts Representatives and the handling of special projects as assigned by the Manager.
