Land Solutions Associate Project Manager, Energy Utility

• Support the Project Manager in implementing project plans, including scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets • Monitor project progress, analyze performance, and proactively address risks or delays • Coordinate land and ROW activities including easements, rights of entry, surface agreements, and related documentation • Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with Atwell quality standards • Assist in managing project financials, including budgets, invoicing, and tracking performance • Serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams, subconsultants, and clients • Help assemble and support project teams, ensuring alignment and productivity • Communicate project updates clearly to stakeholders and leadership • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff as you grow in the role • Support proposal efforts, presentations, and client follow-ups • Help identify opportunities for continued or expanded work within existing client relationships • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners • Continue building technical expertise across land, engineering, and project delivery disciplines • Participate in professional organizations, training, and industry events to expand your network and knowledge
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or related field
- 4 years of experience in land, engineering, environmental, or project coordination roles (energy/utility experience required)
- Exposure to land and ROW projects, including easements, property rights, or acquisition support
- Understanding of project lifecycle management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with clients
- Experience with tools such as Deltek Vision or similar project management systems is a plus
- Professional certifications (AAPL, SR/WA, PE, RLA, etc.) are a plus
