Role Description For an International Distributor working in more than 30 countries in Europe and Africa, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients. - Sales area: Baltic countries - Home office based in Baltic countries - Responsible for business development of a selection of food ingredients and nutraceuticals in different branches of the food industry. - Experience with Starches and Dairy proteins is nice to have. Tasks - Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potential. - Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers. - Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions. - Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen. - Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager. - Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager. You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year. Qualifications - Degree in Food Technology (or similar) - Must have. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in the food industry (production/sales) - preferred. - Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development. - Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. - High willingness to travel. - Very organized, reliable, positive thinking. - Very good knowledge of English and local languages. - Russian is nice to have.
