• Planning and executing go‑to‑market programs with a clear revenue focus in close collaboration with vendors and internal teams • Active hunting and onboarding of new partners and customers with a focus on security solutions • Acting as the regional point of contact for cybersecurity and AI trainings, vendors, and solutions • Driving demand generation in the channel through enablement, training, and practical partner engagement • Building, developing, and closing a robust sales pipeline • Managing high‑quality opportunities and special pricing arrangements with a strong commercial focus • Providing clear, structured reports on pipeline, opportunities, and performance • Close collaboration with vendors on campaigns, events, trade shows, and joint sales initiatives • Establishing and maintaining solid relationships with decision‑makers at targeted resellers • Supporting marketing activities from a clear sales perspective • Market presence: sales‑floor walks, partner visits, and active on‑site work • Supporting pre‑sales activities where they accelerate deal closure • Close alignment with Sales and Marketing to deliver measurable results • Collaborating with management on business intelligence and data‑driven decisions • Active participation in business development plans and growth initiatives • Actively stimulating sales activities across the reseller ecosystem • Consistent follow‑up and conversion of vendor leads • Ownership of opportunities from first contact through to profitable closure

Job Requirements

  • At least five years' experience in distribution or the IT channel
  • Residence in Germany
  • German at native or business‑fluent level and very good English
  • Strong hunter mentality with a confident, competitive, and trustworthy presence
  • High self‑motivation and confidence in working independently in the market
  • Solid understanding of the full sales cycle, pipeline management, and margin control
  • Strong customer and partner orientation
  • Excellent communication skills at decision‑maker level
  • High willingness to learn and strong interest in cybersecurity and AI solutions
  • Very good IT knowledge
  • Proactive, ambitious, and growth‑oriented working style
  • Proven success in onboarding new customers, account expansion, and revenue growth

Role Description AssetWatch is seeking a Business Development Representative that will execute effective sales strategies to cultivate new business opportunities and facilitate growth for AssetWatch. A BDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and driving new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales development, lead generation, and manufacturing. - Schedule qualified online sales demonstration opportunities for appropriate Solution Architects through outbound calls, emails, text, and LinkedIn. - Understand prospect needs and pain points as well as how AssetWatch can help alleviate those pain points through our value propositions and solutions. - Research accounts, identify key targets, and generate interest through telephone, email, and LinkedIn activity. - Maintain and expand AssetWatch’s prospect database of prospects within assigned territory. - Partner with Solution Architects to build/expand enterprise pipeline and close deals. - Maintain system hygiene by inputting accurate data and following defined sales processes. Qualifications - 1+ year of proven BDR experience (Manufacturing is a nice-to-have) - Track record of over-achieving in deliverables. - Strong phone presence and ability to perform high-volume outbound calls per day and account-focused. - Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM along with additional platforms such as: Gong, Orum, Outreach, Chili Piper, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outlook, Zoom, Slack and more. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Strong listening and presentation skills. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. - Team player and collaborator. - Must bring a high level of enthusiasm, energy, and desire to be successful. - Always represent AssetWatch in a professional and appropriate manner. - Fluency in both French and English preferred but not required.
