About the role:We are seeking a highly organized, detail-obsessed Event Operations Senior Associate to join our Events team, reporting to the VP, Experiential Marketing. In this role, you will be the operational engine behind Garner's Tier 1 owned events, the multi-day national programs (such as our Strategic Benefits Summit and Nexus by Garner) that bring our most important customers, prospects, and partners together. You will own the logistics that make these events feel effortless: venues, vendors, rooming, transportation, budgets, and flawless onsite execution. This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role for someone who loves the details and thrives in the run-up to a major event. You will partner closely with the Director of Events and the broader Events team, manage vendors and budgets day to day, and be the calm, organized presence onsite when it matters most. Where you will work:Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ. Expect significant travel, up to 50%, to support Garner's Tier 1 events on the ground, with time spent onsite in the days leading up to and during each event. Where you will work:This role is open to remote candidates across the U.S. For candidates based in New York City, the position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. What you will do: - Manage and support our compliance certifications, including SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 27001 audits and run control testing across the audit lifecycle - Serve as the subject matter expert across the company on our compliance frameworks - Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and assessors - Manage Garner’s Security and Privacy trust center - Maintain the risk register and drive risk identification, scoring, and reporting - Manage the maintenance of our compliance policies, standards, and procedures - Report on our compliance posture to senior leadership - Scale our GRC function with AI and automation, building quick wins and scoping requirements for Engineering to fully automate the rest The ideal candidate has: - 5+ years of experience in GRC, IT audit, or information security compliance - Prior experience with HITRUST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 audits - Hands-on experience with control design, evidence collection, and remediation in a cloud-native engineering environment - Proven ability to adapt your communication style across engineers, operators, and executives - A GRC Engineering mindset with prior experience using scripting and LLMs to automate repetitive tasks - Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor preferred - A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback Technologies we use: - AWS, Okta, Datadog, Retool, Gitlab, Vanta This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare. Role Description We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Researcher to join our Clinical Research Team. This role will report to the Director of Healthcare Research. You will be essential in helping develop and maintain Garner’s proprietary claims-based physician performance measures. You will help review academic clinical literature and work with clinical experts to understand high-quality, high-value care across a variety of specialties and identify exceptional clinicians. What you will do: - Conduct literature reviews to help develop and refine metrics for a range of medical conditions and procedures. - Create and validate measures using proprietary technical and statistical tools. - Maintain a library of documentation for internal and external stakeholders. - Work closely with clinical experts. - Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to support new product development, figuring out creative ways to use the metrics we have developed to save the US healthcare system money and help improve quality of care for patients. Qualifications - Minimum 1 year (preferably 2+ years) working with health insurance claims data or electronic health record (EHR) data. - Working knowledge of how to utilize ICD and CPT codes, as well as their limitations. - Bachelor’s degree required.
