Senior Manager, Sales Engineering

Cohesity

• Lead a Sales Engineering team focusing on Data Security and Cyber Resilience. • Foster a culture of positivity, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Develop and mentor Sales Engineers to enhance their technical, customer, and competitive knowledge continuously. • Provide proactive support to your team in Accounts and Deals, exerting meaningful and results-driven customer-facing influence. • Guide the team in successfully implementing proof of concepts to demonstrate the business value of the designed Cohesity solution. • Offer hands-on technical and project management support to ensure project success and achieve final Technical Decision Authority approval. • Collaborate closely with regional Sales, Channel, and Marketing Leaders to drive business actively. • Communicate Cohesity's vision by developing and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in a customer-facing pre-sales role, proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of a customer organization.
  • Proven experience managing Sales Engineering teams in an Enterprise Software and/or SaaS Vendor setting.
  • Experience working with customers and technology partners.
  • Experience selling Data Security, Cyber Resilience, and Conversational AI Solutions.
  • Comfort working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both technical and business, to small and large groups within the customer hierarchy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Consistent track record of building strong internal relationships and working cross-organizationally.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Proficiency in utilizing management tools such as KPIs, IDPs, and other business metrics to govern and control desired Pre-Sales Business Outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
