Role Description Agilent’s Diagnostics and Genomics Group is seeking a customer‑focused In‑Field Customer Application Specialist (CAS) to support new and existing customers in the Chicagoland territory. This role serves as the scientific and technical expert for Agilent’s Pathology and Genomics Solutions, partnering closely with sales, service, and internal teams to drive growth, ensure successful implementations, and optimize customer outcomes. This is a remote, home‑based position, with the expectation of frequent travel throughout the assigned territory to visit customer sites as business needs require. Territory Coverage: This is a multistate territory and includes: Illinois, NW Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa. The ideal candidate must reside in the Chicagoland area (Chicago, suburbs, NW Indiana, and/or southern Wisconsin). No relocation is available at this time. Position is remote/home‑office based within the territory. Regular travel within the territory is required to support pre‑sales, post‑sales, training, and customer optimization activities. Key Responsibilities - Provide pre‑sales scientific and technical consultation, partnering with Sales to guide customers toward optimal Pathology and Genomics solutions. - Support customer meetings and presentations as the technical subject matter expert (in‑person and remote). - Co‑travel with Sales Account Managers to develop new business and support existing accounts. - Support post‑sales installations, including on‑site training and Performance Qualification, in collaboration with Field Service Engineers and internal teams. - Optimize customer assays, including IHC, Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH. - Deliver on‑site and remote troubleshooting in partnership with Applications, Technical Support, Sales, and Service teams. - Act as the customer voice, providing feedback to influence future product and application development. - Maintain awareness of competitive solutions and articulate Agilent’s value differentiators. - Complete required administrative activities, including scheduling, travel, expenses, and service documentation. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or a related field. - 1–2 years of experience supporting pathology and genomics instrumentation and workflows in clinical or laboratory environments. - HT or QIHC certification is a plus. - Strong scientific and technical background in: - Immunohistochemistry (IHC) - Special Stains and H&E - Molecular techniques, including ISH/FISH - Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences. - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively. - Up to 75% travel with flexible working hours. - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform hands-on laboratory activities. - Must meet Agilent‑approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements for site access, where applicable. Role Description Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing Videojet equipment at customer sites across all of Ireland. This is a customer-facing field role where you will: - Troubleshoot technical issues - Install new equipment - Support customers to ensure their production lines operate efficiently - Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities that improve customer performance and satisfaction This role is ideally based in West Meat, Meath, Kildare, Dublin, with flexibility to travel widely across the territory. Engineers typically start their day from home and travel to customer sites, with average travel times of 1–2 hours each way depending on location. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on customer needs. Role Description Provide pre-sales support to the NEM and LAB customer base. This will include, but not be limited to: - Online or onsite demonstrations - Presentations - Evaluation support - Technical reviews of our products Provide support presence at trade shows, conferences, and customer demonstrations focusing on technical product applications. Participate in field evaluations to ensure customers are properly trained and tutored on EXFO testing solutions. Assist with automation and integration of EXFO gear into customers’ manufacturing test environments. Work closely with the Business Unit to ensure the most up-to-date product information is being delivered to the market. Provide direct feedback to the Business Unit regarding competitive information and new feature requests received from the field. Qualifications - Well versed in communications technologies, including high speed transceivers, photonics, active/passive optical components and PIC technologies. - Familiarity with testing and characterization of these technologies including IL/PDL measurements, polarization, BERT, scopes, protocol (Ethernet, OTN, etc.). - Ability to stay current with the latest emerging technologies. - Solid knowledge and understanding of automating testing in a production environment (Labview, Python, C, C++, etc.). Requirements - Minimum three years’ experience with communications test equipment or equivalent. - Language requirements: Thai and English written and verbal. - Degree in Telecommunications, Optics, Engineering, or equivalent. - Approximately 25%-50% travel required.
