Your day-to-day: - Design, develop, and implement new features that make our hosting platform faster, more reliable, and easier to scale. - Deploy and run infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation. - Operate and observe systems through real metrics: availability, latency, performance, capacity, reliability. - Refine and tune systems to eliminate bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and improve reliability. - Improve monitoring and alerting, aiming to catch symptoms before they turn into outages. - Share knowledge with other engineers - guiding, reviewing, and helping raise the bar for how we build and maintain reliable systems.
