Associate Marketing Communications Manager

Role Description As the Associate Marketing Communications Manager, you serve as the creative engine, helping to build strategy and translate it into action for our Interventional Spine (IVS) business. Your role is dynamic and highly collaborative, requiring strategic planning and tactical execution. No day is like another. You are responsible for constantly connecting people, ideas, tools, and stories to have maximum impact. You serve as an integral member of the team, working alongside stakeholders to understand our customers while employing tools and tactics to make unexpected connections and elevate the IVS brand. - Bring our brand to life by building and translating marketing strategies into action. - Develop persuasive, benefit-driven messaging to articulate value propositions to different customer groups in alignment with their needs. - Support the development and authoring of Commercialization Plans for launches and Annual Marketing Plans, translating strategies into actionable tactics. - Provide creative direction for marketing and promotional materials, including messaging, collateral development, digital and advertising strategies for different customer groups in alignment with their needs. - Write and edit publishing materials, scripts, or other communication media. - Lead with assistance in the development of marketing copy or promotional text for specific types of publications. - Leverage the different marketing channel strategies, tracking impact, and making strategic channel decisions based upon ROI. - Assess competitive insights, adjusting messaging, strategy, and tactics as needed. - Serve as a brand steward, adhering to, promoting, training, and integrating Stryker’s visual and verbal brand guidelines within the business. - Develop presentations for self and others, organizing key points and supporting information in a visually stimulating and concise manner for the target audience. - Support sales enablement platforms to ensure more current collateral materials and communication templates are available. - Apply clinical knowledge in combination with technical knowledge to develop unique and enticing assets for the sales team. - Support internal communication needs, including editorial calendar management, template development, platform maintenance, tracking, and reporting. - Develop and manage key vendor and agency relationships. - Develop and maintain project calendars to establish priorities, track project status, and deliverables. - Identify, track, analyze, and report on key metrics. - Manage activity budgets and related expenses, reporting as necessary. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. - 6+ years of work experience required. Requirements - MBA preferred. - 3+ years of medical device or marketing experience preferred. - Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills. - Agency management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines. - Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority. - Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies. - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), and Marketo platforms. Benefits - United States of America Pay Ranges: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual. - Travel Percentage: 20%.
