• Build deep, trusted relationships with senior leaders across key ops functions, acting as their dedicated comms adviser • Translate business strategy and organisational change into compelling, people-centred narratives that land clearly at every level • Provide proactive counsel on communication approach, timing, tone and methods • Act as an early-warning system: spot communication gaps or risks and address them before they become issues. • Lead the creation of high-quality internal content — all-hands communications, leadership messaging, Partner briefs, intranet articles, videos and more… • Design and deliver integrated internal communications campaigns that drive engagement, reinforce culture and support key business moments • Bring our values and purpose to life through stories that celebrate our people, our impact and our progress • Own and develop our internal communications channels, ensuring they are relevant, well-used and continuously improving • Champion digital-first communication approaches while ensuring no colleague is left behind • Manage the internal comms calendar, coordinating across functions. • Partner with the People team to embed our values across key moments in the colleague journey • Support leadership visibility programmes, helping our senior team show up authentically and consistently • Use insight and feedback - pulse surveys, listening sessions, engagement data - to inform comms strategy and measure impact. • Lead communications for organisational change, transformation programmes and significant business announcements • Support leaders in managing sensitive or complex communications with empathy, care and precision • Develop playbooks and toolkits that help managers communicate effectively with their own teams.

This position will implement rigorous strategies, tactics, and campaigns that promote understanding, shift beliefs, and support actions that pave the way toward this future. This includes ensuring that the community’s understanding of homelessness shifts from a program-level narrative to a system-level one—highlighting progress toward reducing and ending homelessness through shared accountability, real-time data, and coordinated action. As the connective tissue between data, operations, leadership, and the public, the Strategic Communications Lead communicates the story of the system’s transformation in a way that drives impact: what we’re learning, how we’re improving, and how partners, residents, and people with lived experience shape the solutions.
