Accounting Manager
AR-CHITECT
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure accuracy and adherence to GAAP • Manage the close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis • Supervise and develop accounting staff; assign work, review output, and provide coaching and feedback • Ensure accurate payroll processing and commission calculations aligned with service contracts and internal policies • Oversee timely and accurate AP/AR processing, maintain proper controls, and support proactive collections • Maintain the chart of accounts, review entries, and ensure proper classification and documentation • Partner with FP&A or leadership to prepare budgets, monitor performance, and provide financial insights • Implement and monitor controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors; prepare schedules, documentation, and responses • Identify and implement opportunities to automate billing, streamline payroll, and enhance financial workflows • Maintain and update accounting policies that reflect the operational needs of a service-based business
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a service-oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Proficiency with accounting and billing systems used in service-based organizations
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Role Description Le/la candidat(e) recrutée aura pour mission la supervision de l'ensemble des opérations liées à la fonction d'agent comptable.
