Role Description Join Us at Social Element! We are looking for a Gaming Moderator for Dutch and English on a globally recognised gaming brand. Gaming Moderators 🎮 keep users' gaming experience safe, enjoyable, and inclusive, ensuring players of all ages feel comfortable and confident when using our client’s gaming platforms. - Ensure all user-generated content is free of illegal, hate speech, and harmful content. - Make strong judgement calls in ‘policy grey areas’ to keep the community harm-free. - Work through high volumes of content while safeguarding the community. - Build a secure and protected gaming environment for all gamers. - Maintain brand reputation and community safety. What You’ll Do 📅 - Review reported content in English and Dutch, including comments, chats, graphic images, videos, and audio files. - Decide if user-generated content has broken community policies using moderation guidelines. - Escalate harmful content to ensure continued protection of users and brand. - Moderate in accordance with Social Element and client-specific guidelines. - Stay updated with notifications of any new changes in guidelines or systems. - Carry out moderation and training according to the project schedule. - Be resilient when reviewing unexpected or sensitive content. - Inform Supervisors and/or project management team of any technical issues or client feedback. Qualifications - Excellent Dutch and English language skills with outstanding reading abilities. - Background experience in moderation, community management, or as a gamer enthusiast. - Great understanding of various social platforms (TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). - Comfortable using a variety of technologies, apps, and online/cloud platforms. - Self-disciplined in managing time while working remotely. Requirements - Operating system: Windows 10 64bits or higher / MAC OS X version 13 (Ventura) or higher. - Processor: i5 8th generation or faster 64-bit (x64). - RAM: At least 8GB (16GB recommended). - Internet speed: 20Mbps download / 1Mbps upload (50Mbps download / 5Mbps upload recommended). - Storage: 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended). - Equipment: A Webcam and headset, Android or iOS device for 2FA. - Chromebook, Linux, and Cloud VMs are not supported.
