Qualifications - Significant experience working with companies to advise on trust & safety, online risk, content moderation, or platform/regulator policy. - Credible presence and positive reputation in the trust & safety field. - First-hand experience navigating complex online harms and advising large brands or platforms. - Up-to-date expertise on UK, EU, US, and global online safety regulations and best practices. - Excellent communicator; able to translate complexity into confident, clear action for colleagues and clients. - Portfolio/evidence of public work (thought leadership, talks, articles). Requirements - Experience in trust & safety advisory roles. - Strong public speaking and thought leadership capabilities. - Ability to navigate complex online environments. - Knowledge of current online safety regulations. Role Description We are looking for a Gaming Moderator for Italian on a globally recognised gaming brand. Gaming Moderators keep users' gaming experience safe, enjoyable, and inclusive, ensuring players of all ages feel comfortable and confident when using our client’s gaming platforms. - Ensure all user-generated content is free of illegal, hate speech, and harmful content. - Make strong judgement calls in ‘policy grey areas’ to keep the community harm-free. - Work through high volumes of content while safeguarding the community. - Build a secure and protected gaming environment for all gamers. - Maintain brand reputation and community safety. What You’ll Do: - Review reported content in Italian and English, including comments, chats, graphic images, videos, and audio files. - Decide if user-generated content has broken community policies based on moderation guidelines. - Escalate harmful content to ensure user and brand protection. - Moderate in accordance with Social Element and client-specific guidelines. - Stay updated with notifications of any new changes in guidelines or systems. - Carry out moderation and training according to the project schedule. - Be resilient when reviewing unexpected, highly sensitive, or challenging content. - Inform Supervisors or project management of any technical or content issues. Working Hours - Approx. 30 hours per week, Wednesday - Sunday, 12am-10am UK time. - Must be available throughout August for increased hours. Qualifications - Excellent Italian and English language skills with outstanding reading abilities. - Experience in moderation, community management, or a strong familiarity with gaming. - Knowledgeable in navigating various social platforms (TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). - Comfortable using a variety of technologies, apps, and online/cloud platforms. - Self-disciplined in managing time while working remotely. Requirements - Operating system: Windows 11 / MAC OS X version 14 (Sonoma) or higher with Admin credentials. - At least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended). - Secure home-based broadband Internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload; 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload recommended). - 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended). - A Webcam and headset. - Android or iOS device for 2FA. - Touchscreen monitor without a keyboard and mouse is not allowed.
